At A Glance: I Protect Me (IPM), located in South Africa, teaches women and children how to protect themselves against sexual attack without using weapons. It operates in cooperation with the Department of Safe Schools for the Western Cape, South Africa.
Goals: Empower women and children to protect themselves against gender-based violence, and correct negative attitudes regarding violence against women in South Africa, which is known as the “rape capital” of the world.
